For many underserved youth living in communities at Yosemite’s doorstep, opportunities to experience wilderness are few and far between. Conservancy funding helps support the WildLink program, where teens explore topics such as air and water quality, cultural and natural history, and environmental conservation and stewardship, all while backpacking in Yosemite. Through these trips, students learn practical skills and form lifelong bonds with nature.
