Slow down, observe Yosemite’s natural wonders and connect with the park in a new way. From April through October, Happy Isles Art and Nature Center in eastern Yosemite Valley offers classes and activities to help you capture and preserve your fond memories of the park through art. Whether you’re a total novice or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, Yosemite’s grandeur might just inspire your best work.
Join one of our guest instructors — all professional artists — for a hands-on four-hour art workshop, or stop by our daily Open Studio to create art on your own time (11 am–3 pm, April–October).
We also offer seasonal children’s art classes for Yosemite’s youngest visitors, as well as guided art adventures that give you the chance to spend several days immersed in Yosemite’s natural beauty as you learn from an expert and hone your skills. Heading to the park with a group? Our private art programs are perfect for school field trips, corporate outings, family vacations and more.
