Grab a pen and colored pencils, and let’s get curious together! This class isn’t about making a “perfect” piece of art — it’s about connecting with this wild place, one mark at a time. With the help of artist Jean Lu, you’ll explore mark-making, shading, and breaking the world into simple shapes, using art supplies as tools to really see and tell your own story. No experience needed, no pressure to get it “right” — just show up curious. Come explore, get a little messy, and leave with a deeper connection to the Sierra Nevada and to yourself!
