Project overview: Replace vital interpretive panels and signage infrastructure in high-traffic areas that were irreparably damaged by recent weather events.

How your support helps: Interpretive panels that were damaged beyond repair will be updated/edited as necessary, fabricated, and reinstalled, remedying a critical deficiency in interpretation, orientation, and wayfinding. The project will replace signage at three waysides in Mariposa Grove, one at the base of Yosemite Falls, and one at Fern Spring. These signs will greatly enhance the visitor experience at some of the park’s most iconic and popular areas.

This year: The damaged panels and bases will be enhanced and replaced, plus signage inside shuttle buses, including maps and interpretive messaging, will be designed and installed.
