Project overview: Inventory all signs in the park to centralize cataloging for repair and replacement needs and costs.

How your support helps: There is no single repository of information for Yosemite signage that includes sign information, condition, date of installation, etc. This makes it hard to plan for strategic replacement or maintenance. A park-wide sign inventory is needed to determine existing sign conditions and to help determine costs and replacement needs.

This year: In 2022, your gifts will help cover a volunteer, employee, or intern to develop and populate a database (created by the park’s GIS shop) that will be completed in cooperation with the facilities team.
