With all the unsettling news about cuts to federal staffing and services in national parks, it’s understandable to feel concerned about what this summer will look like in Yosemite. From hiring freezes to staff reductions, the National Park Service is facing some serious challenges that could impact everything from campground reservations to visitor center operations.

But here’s the good news: As of today, Yosemite Conservancy’s in-park programs will continue as planned.

Despite the chaos, the Conservancy remains rock-solid in its commitment to enhancing your Yosemite experience.

That proud legacy lives on today in the form of astronomy programs under starry skies, naturalist-guided hikes, multi-day backpacking treks, and outdoor art classes and retreats that’ll make your heart (and your sketchbook) sing.

What makes these programs even more meaningful right now is this: every booking with Yosemite Conservancy directly supports the preservation of Yosemite for generations to come. 100% of participant fees support Yosemite Conservancy programs and educational experiences that “enrich the visitor experience for all.”

Yosemite Conservancy is offering education, inspiration, and a whole lot of heart. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned Yosemite lover, joining a Conservancy program is a sure way to get the most out of your trip — and to give back to a place that gives us all so much.

This summer, let’s choose connection over chaos. Let’s meet under the pines, paint beside granite walls, hike past wildflower-filled meadows, and gaze at the stars — all with the guidance and passion of Yosemite Conservancy’s incredible team.

Your Yosemite story doesn’t have to be delayed or diminished. In fact, it just might be your most meaningful visit yet.
