Inspire Visitors to Capture Yosemite

Lead Yosemite visitors on a journey to capture the park’s natural beauty in daily art classes. As a volunteer art instructor, you provide crucial support to the Conservancy’s Happy Isles Art and Nature Center programs, working hand in hand with our expert staff.

Our volunteer art instructors live in the park for a minimum of one week, maximum of two weeks, and work a 32-hour week with time off to explore the park. They enjoy free entrance into the park and camping in a private campsite. They also receive a 30% discount on art supplies, books and educational materials sold at Yosemite Conservancy bookstores, as well as discounts from the park concessioner in various park locations.

As always, we’re committed to ensuring the health and safety of our art class participants and instructors. For all art programs, we’re implementing strict safety measures that align with the latest federal, state and local guidelines. At this time, we anticipate that these policies and procedures will remain in place through the 2021 season.
