Celebrate summer’s biodiverse splendor in the Yosemite high country with an expert naturalist. On this weekend adventure, you’ll join fellow park-lovers for three high-elevation exploratory full-day hikes in the Tuolumne Meadows area.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll learn about sensitive alpine ecology, including the dwarfed hidden gardens that grow on Yosemite’s “sky islands,” isolated, high-elevation plateaus that harbor rare plants found nowhere else on Earth.
Each day hike will bring opportunities to deepen your connection to the natural world; revel in the majestic views of mountains, meadows and lakes, and hear insider tips for your future travels in this quiet part of the park. For an extra-fun experience, be sure to bring your curiosity and nature-based questions — see if you can stump your guide!
