Celebrate the scintillating colors and rhythms of spring in Yosemite! Sit beneath the soaring granite cliffs of Yosemite Valley, as award-winning artist Sonja Hamilton helps you hone techniques for capturing the beauty of Yosemite in your artwork. Take pleasure in painting in an outstanding natural setting, as you nurture your creativity, improve your watercolor skills and connect with fellow artists. You’ll end the four-day workshop with lasting memories of a rewarding experience, personal artwork to take home and an increased appreciation of plein air painting.

Included with your registration:

  • Four day immersive art workshop (Thursday, May 30, morning through Sunday, June 2, around 3 pm).
  • Park entry (as needed).
  • Camping included, if needed; limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Wednesday, May 29, and departs Monday, June 3) at Upper Pines Campground in Yosemite Valley. We cannot adjust these dates.

Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 45 days before the start of the program.
