Explore your creativity and the inspiring beauty of Yosemite Valley through watercolor sketching!

In this multiday workshop, you’ll learn techniques to capture Yosemite’s landmarks with hand-drawn sketches and watercolor paint in a personal sketchbook. You’ll spend each day exploring Yosemite Valley and drawing and painting along the way, producing multiple sketches rather than one large painting. As part of a small group, you’ll get individual attention and learn skills like how to choose colors, simplify a scene, and paint different elements. You’ll return home with a collection of paintings to preserve your memories — and the confidence to sketch your next adventure.

Some drawing and painting experience is helpful for this art retreat, but all levels are welcome. If you’re not sure if this workshop is the right fit for you, get in touch, we’re happy to help!
