Vernal Fall

Yosemite’s 317-foot Vernal Fall flows year-round, reaching its peak in May. To see (and feel) this natural wonder up close, hikers head up the Mist Trail through the fall’s spray zone, a haven for specialized water-loving flora. Thanks to Conservancy donors, park crews have taken steps to protect those rare plants in recent years.
