In this wine and paint class, you will learn the basics of watercolor and employ them to create an iconic Yosemite landscape step-by-step. With guidance from a Yosemite Conservancy art instructor, you’ll walk away with an understanding of simple watercolor techniques, color mixing, and your very own Yosemite masterpiece!
This class is perfect for aspiring artists and experienced artists alike. No matter your skill level, you’ll be inspired by other class members as you all paint the same landscape together. Dip your toes into the world of watercolor in this playful, supportive online class, and bring a beverage of choice to sip on as you paint!
- Experience level: Little to no experience required, ages 12+.
- Registration fee: $25 per person. Advanced online registration is required; Zoom link and other meeting information will be sent to registered participants via email.
- Location: Virtual event; join us from the comfort of your home!
- Time: 4pm – 6pm, every Friday from June to October
- Materials: Bring your own beverage and snacks
Please note: We choose a new subject to paint each month. If you register for multiple Wine and Paint classes in one month, you will be painting the same subject. We will send you a reference photo and a sketch the week of your class and a Zoom link the day of your class.
