Join artists and poets Joa Suorez and Kelly Lee for a fun and creative day in Yosemite! You’ll turn your springtime adventure into both a watercolor painting and an original poem. Learn the basics of plein air watercolor — like sketching, mixing colors, and framing your scene — while diving into poetry inspired by the Sierra Nevada. Then, get ready to write your own poem! This workshop is all about celebrating your unique style, encouraging playful experimentation, and having a great time — whether you’re picking up a brush or pen for the first time or you’re a seasoned creative.
