Favorite Yosemite activity: Being in the Valley when it’s snowing.
Memorable Yosemite moment: Closing the Tuolumne Meadows Visitor Center when nobody else was up there.
Shelly grew up in Salt Lake City and moved to the Yosemite area in 1980. She has two adult children, and lives with her husband in Mariposa, not far from the Conservancy’s El Portal office. As our inventory manager, Shelly is in charge of purchasing all books, apparel and other items the Conservancy sells in the park. She makes sure our retail team members have everything they need to keep our bookstores well-supplied and operating smoothly.
