Julia was born in Michigan, grew up outside of Philadelphia, and attended the University of Maryland. She found her love of the outdoors after moving to Los Angeles, in 2008, when she and her husband found themselves escaping the city whenever possible to camp, hike, and explore California’s national and state parks. As our LA-based major gifts officer, Julia works with passionate and generous Conservancy supporters in Southern California to help ensure the beauty of the park is preserved for generations to come.
