Frank joined Yosemite Conservancy as president in 2015, bringing a deep passion for public lands and more than three decades of experience in the National Park Service, including many years in Yosemite.

Frank’s background includes serving as superintendent of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and New York’s Saratoga National Historical Park, and as deputy superintendent at California’s Point Reyes National Seashore. He also oversaw the NPS Centennial program for two years and led the NPS Partnership Office in Washington, DC. In Yosemite, he spent eight years as a ranger and six as the primary NPS liaison to Yosemite Conservancy.

Frank completed his undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University and earned a master of public administration from the University of San Francisco. He lives in Petaluma with his wife and daughter, and their dog, Tenaya.
