With your gift of $10,000 or more, you or your loved one can be recognized on a Yosemite National Park bear-proof locker. Bear-proof locker sponsorship helps the Conservancy provide for a wide variety of projects and programs, including work to keep bears wild.

How will my donation be recognized?

  • Gifts are acknowledged with a note or email to a family member (memorial gifts) or the honoree (honor gifts), as requested.
  • Memorial and Honor gifts of $25 or more are recognized in the Honor Register at the Yosemite Exploration Center (formerly the Valley Visitor Center) in the following year.
  • Memorial gifts totaling $2,500 or more in a calendar year are recognized on the Honor Wall at the Yosemite Exploration Center (formerly the Valley Visitor Center) in the following year.
  • A calendar year gift of $10,000 or more may be recognized on a bear-proof food locker; recognition request must be made at the time your contribution is received.
