Meet Paola, an East Coast transplant from the suburbs of New York City, Pao knew her heart belonged in the mountains. It was an intolerable itch she had to scratch. As the dreamer that she is, she decided to say goodbye to New York and explore the wonderous peaks, lakes, and valleys that the world had to offer. Her love for the outdoors made such an impact on her life she decided to pursue her dream of landing a job in Yosemite National Park. Yosemite has been her home since 2018 and continues to be her classroom, outdoor playground, and spiritual sanctuary. Paola’s love for the park manifests itself in the form of outdoor education, guiding programs, and photography.
