Ashley grew up as an ocean lover on the coast of Southern California but fell head over heels for the mountains as soon as she visited Yosemite for the first time. She has spent the last decade working in Yosemite as a naturalist guide and outdoor programs administrator after graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt’s College of Natural Resources and Sciences. She is a devoted student of natural history, a lover of botany, and an avid hiker/backpacker. Yosemite is her greatest passion. At the Conservancy, she finds a wealth of joy in her role as a facilitator of meaningful educational experiences. It is an honor and privilege to connect people to Yosemite, themselves, and one another through outdoor programming.
