Do you love adventuring outdoors with your canine companion? Join us for a Sunday adventure all about experiencing Yosemite with your dog. During this full-day program in Yosemite Valley, you’ll connect with fellow dog-lovers, get helpful tips for exploring the park with pets, and learn why certain parts of Yosemite, including wilderness areas and many trails, are restricted to human hikers. Your guide will also share tips about dog-friendly public lands in California and around the country, such as national forests, so you’ll be ready to take your furry friend on future adventures.

This unique adventure is open to well-trained, leashed dogs (and their people, of course!) with plenty of outdoor experience. Please note: To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we will ask participants to leave if their dog behaves in a way that disrupts other people, animals or habitat.

Included with your registration:

  • A full-day guided program (Sunday, October 13, starting at 9 am and lasting about seven hours).
  • Park entry (as needed).
  • Camping included, if needed; limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Saturday, October 12, and departs, Monday, October 14) at Upper Pines Campground in Yosemite Valley. We cannot adjust these dates. Upper Pines is a dog-friendly campground!
  • Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 30 days before the start of the program.
