Learn how rangers keep people safe in Yosemite from those in the know! What happens if you get lost or hurt on the trail? How do rescuers help people on Yosemite’s high rock walls? Join Yosemite Search and Rescue (YOSAR) team members for behind-the-scenes stories from real emergency response missions in the park. As the rangers share their true tales, pictures and videos, you’ll learn what it takes to run search and rescue operations in Yosemite — and what you can do to prevent emergency situations. Be sure to bring your curiosity and questions for this informative, interactive evening.
