Program Overview: Experience Yosemite with all your senses during two restorative days of forest bathing and nature journaling. Begin each day with Forest Bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku — immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere. Led by naturalist and certified Forest Therapy guide Dan Webster, you’ll slow down, awaken your senses, and connect deeply with Yosemite’s beauty through gentle walks and guided sensory activities. After lunch, join nature journaler Theresa Ho for guided journaling sessions designed to sharpen your observation skills. You’ll explore details often overlooked — from delicate wildflowers to distant bird calls — and record them in your own style: sketches, poems, maps, or field notes. By the end of each day, you’ll have a personal record of your discoveries, a renewed sense of connection to nature, and practical tools to carry this awareness into your everyday life.
