Program Overview: Discover the hidden wonders of Yosemite in this field workshop! Explore the park’s vibrant world of lichens, mosses, mycelium, insects, and other often-overlooked (or even undiscovered) treasures. Through guided observation and hands-on learning, you’ll gain a new awareness and appreciation for the “little things” that drive Yosemite’s rich biodiversity. Invigorate your sense of awe and wonder as we explore the park’s beauty on an intimate scale. Perfect for curious minds and nature lovers who want to take a closer look at the overlooked ‘worlds within worlds’ that exist all around us.
