Program Overview: Whether you’re just getting started with a camera or have lots of experience behind the lens, you’ll find plenty to savor during this weekend of photographing seasonal sights in Yosemite Valley.
After an introductory gathering at Yosemite Valley Lodge on Thursday evening, you’ll spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday indulging in the quiet beauty that descends on the park in autumn. Over the course of three full days of professional photography instruction, you’ll learn to work with natural light and shadow, find fresh angles on famous subjects, and use new techniques to make your photos stand out. Develop your personal photographic style as you move around the Valley, zooming in on oak leaves or stepping back to frame towering cliffs. Throughout the workshop, you’ll be able to take advantage of smaller crowds, colorful foliage and soft light to capture gallery-worthy images.
Photography equipment is not included. All camera types (digital or film) are welcome!
