Sharpen your wilderness skills on a three-day guided backpacking trip in Yosemite’s incomparable high country. Join fellow adventurers and an experienced naturalist guide for a challenging but rewarding trek starting from Lembert Dome. Spend Friday hiking to Young Lakes (10,000 feet), where you’ll set up a base camp for the weekend. On Saturday, head cross-country to Mount Conness (12,590 feet), and scramble safely to the summit. After recharging with another night under the stars, you’ll hike back out to Tuolumne Meadows.
Throughout the long weekend, you’ll learn how to navigate tricky, off-trail terrain, identify alpine wildflowers and wildlife, explore the area’s natural history, and connect with other Yosemite-lovers. By Sunday afternoon, you’ll be ready to take on your own peak-bagging adventure!
