Yosemite’s remarkable rock formations are among the park’s most recognizable features. On this guided weekend adventure, explore some of those famous features in the Tuolumne Meadows area with a park geology expert. During two day hikes, you’ll get the inside (and ancient) story of Yosemite’s peaks, domes and cliffs. Learn how glaciation has shaped the Sierra landscape, from the jagged nunataks that jutted out above the ice to the erratic boulders left behind when the glaciers melted. Bring your scientific curiosity and rock-related questions!
