Improved housing helps retain exceptional Search and Rescue employees who provide an invaluable service to the park. Enabling Search and Rescue Personnel to remain in close proximity to one another strengthens team cohesion, and in turn provides a better service to visitors and other parties in need of Yosemite Search and Rescue assistance

Providing detailed hiking information and maps at an outside kiosk allows visitors to plan hiking excursions more effectively and safely.

The goal of this project is to create a mobile platform for the information published currently in the Yosemite Guide, allowing visitors to download important activity, facility and trail information while on the go.
