As you snowshoe among the towering trees, you’ll get to experience a serene, welcoming setting, and see the outcome of the recently completed restoration project that brought ecological balance back to the grove. Learn about the ecology of the grove and how the Sierra Nevada snowpack has helped these giants thrive for thousands of years. Feel the quiet that descends on the forest in winter, look for signs of wildlife that stay active year-round, and hear the stories behind some of the grove’s most famous trees, such as the Grizzly Giant.

Included with your registration:

  • A full-day guided snowshoe adventure (Saturday, February 9, starting at 9 am and lasting about six hours).
  • Park entry (as needed).
  • Snowshoe rental (as needed).
  • Camping included, if needed, limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Friday, February 8, and departs Sunday, February 10) at Upper Pines Campground in Yosemite Valley. We cannot adjust these dates.

Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 45 days before the start of the program.
