Whether you’re new to birding and botany, or you want to learn more about Yosemite’s high country ecology, you’re bound to enjoy this relaxing weekend with a naturalist guide. During a series of day hikes in the White Wolf area, you’ll learn about and look for diverse bird and plant species that live at the park’s high elevations. Enjoy summer scenery, as you practice identifying songbirds by sight and sound, and using clues such as petal count and color to figure out which wildflowers are blooming along the trails. This weekend offers naturalists of all levels a can’t-miss opportunity to learn from a Yosemite expert and recharge in the beautiful Sierra Nevada.

Included with your registration:

  • Both days will be a combination of birding and investigating wildflowers starting Saturday at 8 am until about 3 pm on Sunday.
  • Park entry (as needed).
  • Camping included, if needed; limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Friday, July 19, through Monday, July 22) at White Wolf Campground. We cannot adjust these dates.

Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at White Wolf Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 45 days before the program.
