Celebrate summer’s splendor in the Yosemite high country with an expert naturalist. On this full-day adventure, you’ll join fellow park-lovers for a high-elevation hike in the Tuolumne Meadows area. Learn about alpine ecology, wildlife and geology; revel in the majestic views of mountains, meadows and lakes; and hear insider tips for your future travels in this quiet part of the park. For an extra-fun day, be sure to bring your curiosity and nature-based questions — see if you can stump your guide!
Included with your registration:
- A full-day hike Friday, August 16, starting at 8 am lasting until about 4 pm.
- Park entry (as needed).
- Camping included, if needed; limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Thursday, August 15, and departs Saturday, August 17) at Tuolumne Meadows Campground.
Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at Tuolumne Meadows Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 45 days before the program.
