In this creative 1.5-hour outing, you’ll use watercolor and ink to meditate on your surroundings, while connecting with the magical forests and ecosystems of Yosemite. After strolling to a secluded spot, a Yosemite Conservancy art instructor will help you bring your surroundings to life with whimsical sketches and splashes of color. You’ll create a visual journal entry, combining drawing and musings as you are inspired. No matter your “artistic” level, you’ll enjoy the playful nature of using art to connect to the world around you! We will walk no more than 1-mile round trip on unpaved, mostly flat trails on this program.
