Winter in Yosemite means quiet days, glittering peaks and snowshoe season! Join us for a guided snowshoe walk to Dewey Point, high above Yosemite Valley. As you make your way through a frosty forest wonderland, your experienced naturalist guide will point out winter wildlife, animal tracks, tree species and more. Enjoy lunch at the overlook, where you’ll find spectacular views of El Capitan, Ribbon Fall and other natural wonders, and then take the scenic route back to Badger Pass Ski Area.
Know Before You Go
When: Saturday, January 29, 8 am to around 4 pm.
Where: Badger Pass Ski Area to Dewey Point
Registration includes: Guided day program, park entry (as needed), snowshoe rental (as needed), and two nights of tent camping at a shared campsite in Yosemite Valley (January 28 and 29). There is no discount if you choose not to use the included gate pass, snowshoes or campsite.
Lodging options: Tent camping (included), or upgrade to Yosemite Valley Lodge for an additional fee. Camping and lodging dates cannot be adjusted. The upgrade option expires 30 days before the program. Lodging information will be sent immediately after registering.
Experience level: No experience necessary!
