Program Overview: Celebrate the spring equinox in Yosemite! Depending on snow levels, your group will either hike or snowshoe along the Valley Loop Trail, sticking to a relaxed pace that will allow plenty of time to observe your surroundings. As you enjoy the fresh air and incredible views, your guide will help you pick up on signs of the shifting seasons and learn about some of the animals and plants that have adapted to the Sierra Nevada’s tough winters.

Early spring conditions in Yosemite can vary widely — depending on the year, you might find snow-covered trails, or you might see deer grazing in meadows. No matter the conditions, it’s a beautiful, quiet season in the park!
