Explore Yosemite’s vibrant summer season — by day and by night! On this combo adventure, you’ll make the most of a single day in the park, enjoying both a sunset stroll and stargazing session in the Valley. First, you’ll get a close look at impressive waterfalls and granite features, hear about Yosemite’s history and ecology, and make occasional stops to explore of the beaten path areas of the park during an evening hike. Break for dinner on your own, then meet back up with your guide to experience the park after dark. Marvel at Yosemite’s unbeatable display of stars as you learn about constellations and distant planets.
Know Before You Go
When: Thursday, July 14 from 3 pm to around 7 pm (sunset hike), and 9-10:30 pm (stargazing program)
Where: Yosemite Valley
Registration includes: Stargazing program and hike, park entry (as needed), and two nights of tent camping at a shared campsite in Yosemite Valley (July 13 and 14), or upgrade to Curry Village for an additional fee. There is no discount if you choose not to use the included gate pass or campsite.
Lodging: Tent camping (included), or upgrade to Curry Village for an additional fee.
