In April 2020, Yosemite Conservancy President Frank Dean and Projects Manager Ryan Kelly spoke with BBC Newshour about the unique wildlife sightings they’ve experienced  — both in-person and virtually, via our webcams  — since the park closed temporarily in March 2020.

“I think it’s important to enjoy the peace and quiet now, but also remember that this is a place that attracts people from all over the globe and they get something incredibly meaningful out of it,” said Ryan.
