Painting allows you to observe so much more than you would see simply taking a picture with your phone. In this three-day workshop, students will paint outdoors with watercolor while practicing intentional observation. Students will learn to connect deeply with what they are seeing and experiencing in nature, observe how it makes them feel, then capture that experience on paper.

Students will learn from professional artist Robert Dvorak, as well as each other, in a supportive learning environment. Robert will do an on-site demonstration at the beginning and a recap of lessons learned at the end of each day. This workshop will provide a progressive learning experience and students will build on skills from day one throughout the course.
